SignalChem Plantech develops new ExpressPharming technologies for plant-based production of recombinant proteins. Our ExpressPharming platform based on a transient process is designed for high-quality, rapid, low cost, virus-free production of recombinant proteins in plants. A wide array of proteins can be efficiently expressed in Nicotiana benthamiana and lettuce plants and readily scaled-up for high volume production using our ExpressPharming platform. They provide for high speed of product development and manufacturing, lowest capital and running costs typically associated with pharmaceutical protein products for drug research and development and production enterprises.

A few dozens of recombinant pharmaceutical proteins and non-pharmaceutical proteins have been produced using the ExpressPharming platform, such as cancer vaccine candidates, recombinant human serum albumin, growth factors, anti-allergens , enzymes.

Global Natural Product Social Molecular Networking (GNPS) is an interactive online small molecule–focused tandem mass spectrometry (MS2) data curation and analysis infrastructure. Molecular networking—one of the main analysis tools used within the GNPS platform—creates a structured data table that reflects the molecular diversity captured in tandem mass spectrometry experiments by computing the relationships of the MS2 spectra as spectral similarity. This protocol provides step-by-step instructions for creating reproducible, high-quality molecular networks. This technique can be used to identify associated with bioactive compounds in combination, are likely to develop great originality of new drugs. By integrating chemical composition analysis, bioactivity analysis and bioinformatics, we identified possible active ingredient combinations in complex components in a goal-oriented way by predicting, separating and verifying the active ingredients.
